| Laura Bordeaux, ASID Past President A dedicated ASID leader and accomplished interior designer, Bordeaux is president of FX Design Inc in Glastonbury, CT. Her company specializes in historic restorations, and residential additions and renovations. In the commercial realm she prepares plans and specifications for offices, private practice dental & doctor’s offices and restaurant design. Bordeaux has been involved with the society in many capacities. She was the Governor appointed member for the Connecticut Architectural Licensing Board for seven years. Her community services with ASID spans over ten years and most recently includes the ASID extensive renovation for Covenant to Care offices in Bloomfield CT and the Bridge Youth Shelter in West Hartford, among others. She also worked as the facility designer for Connecticut American Heart Association fundraiser.
