An interior design and marketing professional with more than 20 years of business experience, Hollie Sutherland launched Hollis Interiors LLC in October 2004 in Fairfield, CT She is an NCIDQ certified interior designer and currently serves on the ASID Connecticut chapter board of directors as Member at Large for 2006-2008. Specialties of her studio are residential interiors, kitchen and bath renovation and custom cabinetry. An award-winning master bath in a Wilton home renovated by Sutherland (formerly Christophersen) was recently featured in Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine, and she was a featured designer for a kitchen renovation on a recent segment of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge. Prior to launching Hollis Interiors, Sutherland worked for several well-known interior design firms in Connecticut, including Stirling Design in Southport, Buchanan Design in New Canaan and Banks Design in Norwalk. Before embarking her interior design career, Sutherland worked with marketing companies that included Bloomingdale’s by Mail and Harvey Marketing. A Connecticut native, she has lived in Boston and Manhattan, and brings to her work experiences from her travels, most notably to the Far East and Russia.
